We use Zoom, Microsoft Teams & Skype or can accomodate to your workplaces preferred platform.

 

Yoga Styles we teach:

  • Hatha -slow paced and poses are held for longer, allows for more stretching. Offered in 45 or 60 minutes on a mat
  • Vinyasa moves at a faster pace and links postures to the breath. Offered in 45 or 60 minutes on a mat
  • Yin  – is a very slow-paced style of yoga, with postures that are held for longer periods of time (up to 5 minutes). Offered in 45 or 60 minutes on a mat
  • Chair Yoga-  Chair yoga is an ideal way to introduce beginners into yoga and makes it accessible to all people to practice. Most of the usual poses in a traditional mat yoga class can be integrated into these classes. While seated on chairs, participants can do versions of twists, hip stretches, forward bends, and mild backbends.In addition to a good stretch, chair yoga participants can also enjoy other health benefits of yoga, including improved muscle tone and strength, better breathing habits, reduction of stress, better sleep and a sense of wellbeing. Chair Yoga can be practiced without getting changed, and offered as an express option for 30 or 45 minutes.

 

Meditation Styles we teach:

  • Mindfulness Meditation

Combination of simply observing and focusing attention on internal thoughts, the breath and external sensations, including sounds, body sensations. Mindfulness is about paying attention to present moment experience with open curiosity and a willingness to be with what is.

  • Yoga Nidra

Peaceful practice that creates a state of deep relaxation and rest, similar to sleep.

  • Breathing Meditation

Focusing on various yogic breathing techniques. Often an easy way to begin your meditation practice.

  • Loving Kindness or Compassion Meditation (Metta)

Meditation that focuses on developing feelings of kindness and compassion toward oneself and then gradually extending this compassion towards others to increase empathy.

  • Mantra Meditation

Sounds, words or phrases spoken aloud or internally as the object of concentration.

  • Progressive Muscle Relaxation

A type of body scan practice that emphasises awareness on different areas throughout the body where you tense up particular muscles and then relax them.

  • Affirmation

Psychological technique to focus thinking about core values: can be effectively used to increase changes to more positive behaviour

  • Guided Imagery/Visualisation

Technique using words, sounds or images to guide the imagination and evoke a positive situation, sensation or emotion.

  • Sound Meditation

The practice of using ancient Tibetan instruments to clear your mind and bring you into a deep state of meditation.

Are you insured?
          Yes all teachers have public liability insurance to the value of $10million and professional liability insurance and First Aid
Who can do the classes?
          The fitness classes are suitable for those at a good general fitness level. If the student has any physical condition that requires individual attention and special instruction, they must seek medical advice before commencing the classes. We require all staff to fill out a health form on the first class.
          Do you have a limit to the number of participants in a class?
          You can have up to 250 staff per teacher for our online classes
          Do I need to use the block classes at the same time every week?
          You can schedule classes weekly, fortnightly, monthly at different days of the week. We just recommend classes are all booked in advance              to secure your dates.
